Whew! Birthdays are such work!

Oh man, who new turning 59 would be such work! I started the day with my morning McDonald's Vanilla Iced Coffee followed with phone calls and visits from so many wonderful friends. I can't believe how blessed I am to have heard from so many. If you're reading this thank you again for your birthday wishes. With the sun finally making a late arrival we got into the pool and chatted, laughed and got a little color from the suns brief visit! Very strange July 4th as far as the weather goes.

Three little water babies! The pool was heated and the grandkids were having a ball.
Tiffany and Lacey decorated the yard and were very creative with flag food. Isn't this fruit skewer fruit flag just too cute??

There was lots of yummy food ... fresh Bing Cherries, Pasta Salad, Potato and Quinoa salads, Mango, Peach Salsa and chips, chocolate filled Raspberries, Tyiriaki Chicken and hot dogs.
Sweet treats ....

and prehistoric ants.
A new patio set from my son and his family! We sure needed one!

Family photo ... hehe, Me, Joe and Miss Betsy.

Austin and Karlee all dressed up for the 4th and so darn cute.
Waiting for the Fireworks to start ...
Martians had landed at the Fullerton Park! I know Donna and I had more fun with these silly glow sticks then the kids did! Thanks Lacey for providing us with the great toys.
Late last night .... we had one tired puppy! Betsy had quite the day hunting scrap treats, barking at kids and celebrating her mommies birthday!
