Whew, they fly out as quickly as they do in!

The last three days have been a whirlwind of activities. When the kids come in to town they have a long list of things to accomplish and this trip was no different! We just had a rain storm to contend with as well. Wednesday my son Dustin headed out to do his list of chores and Lacey the kids and I went to Target, Coffee Bean, Mc Donald's, Nordstrom Rack, and for Karlee the fresh grown strawberry stand! That girl loves her berries just like grandmas!! That evening Aunt Tiffany came over after work and she is fabulous at getting the kids all riled up ...
Yes, she is doing airplane rides and of course their is an Angry Bird on the ride too. Alexia LOVES her birds, the more the merrier is her motto.

This is a typical look at my family room floor... crayons, bunches of puff balls an I Phone and two Angry Birds taking turns playing Angry Birds.
Thursday morning Lacey and I had our nails done nice and early. By noon we had loaded the girls in the car and headed up the 5 freeway  to shop the Citadel Outlets. The kids and I had an agreement (you know how those go) We would go to Toys R Us and pick out a toy then they would be patient while mommy did her shopping without them. Well ... Austin chose to stay home and shop with daddy, way to much girl stuff for him! So now it's Karlee , Alexia and I. We go to Toys R Us, can't make up our mind here so off we go to Justice across the way. Oh lordy, at 7 she is already a clothes Diva. She knows exactly what she like and doesn't waiver. After 4-ever we finally leave Justice and go back to Toy's R Us. Yep, we get a Vespa riding Barbie. Tiffany finally arrives so now the big girls can shop, shop, shop! Lucky for me Alexia fell asleep in the first shop, Karlee was entertained with the funny looking people and a lemonade slurpee and I was happy the girls were having a good time! With a car full of bags we headed for home.
The evening was filled with laughing, screaming kids, dinner, cartoons and I finally hit the bed at 9 pm exhausted! It's hard work being a grandma that's for darn sure.
Friday morning everyone was up nice and early and the first activity was blowing bubbles in the milk. Austin is having a hard time getting his started, but don't worry, he did and they ran all over the table. Yep, gotta love those kids.
So another trip is over, they loaded up the truck in the pouring rain and are headed north to Miranda. The house is so quiet now -  Betsy can finally take a nap, I can put the house back together again and Joe, poor Joe can turn his hearing aids back on and join the world.
