What is Cupcake Camp II SGV?
Cucake Camp is a program that has caught on worldwide. People are holding them all over the world to raise money for deserving charitable causes ranging from sex trafficking to cancer. We chose to make the three local women’s shelters (WINGS YWCA Covina, Project Sister and Stepping Stones for Women) our recepients.Professional bakers, amateurs and kids can bake and donate cucakes to be passed out to the public who buy tasting tickets (6 for $10.00). Last year we had 500 people attend so we need lots of bakers to supply the cupcakes for this event. To make it fun we have a contest, one for the professional,one for the amateur and one for the kids. If you just want to donate cupcakes we appreciate it but you can also enter into the contest. We need baking applications filled out so we can keep track of our numbers. Baking applications are available online at cupcakecampiisgv@yahoo.com.
This happens in the event center at Glendora High School on Saturday, October 14, 2012, from 1-5pm. We also have vendors, selling jewelry, avon, baskets, clothing, etc., outside of the event center. Applications for vendors are available online at shannongirl54@verizon.net.
